Houda started her career in her family business working with her brother Yasser on institutionalizing the company into the corporation it is today. After 3 years of hard work in Lebanon, Houda decided to pursue her true love for finance and her passion for the business world and gain experience outside of the family business.
She joined the consumergroup of Istithmar, a global alternative investment firm owned by the government of Dubai with assets under management of over USD 12 billion. As a director at Istithmar World (IW), Houda completed investments of more than $1 billion in companies in various sub-sectors within the consumer space.
Since 2012, Houda moved into focusing on new diversified investments for Dabboussi Group with an emphasis on the education sector in the MENA region.
Houda has been an investor in the MENA region for a decade and has strong relationships and understanding of the market. She has been an active board member of Dabboussi Group for the past 11 years.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut and a Masters of Art degree in Strategy Management from Kingston University in London.
